Hello Everyone!
Happy New Year to all of you!!!! My New Year has started off a little bumpy, but I am still happy and focused to see what this year will bring. Unfortunately, this morning I have learned that one of my frat brothers, Nakita Brooks, has passed away. He was a very genuine person with a good heart and very committed to brotherhood and the ideals of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity Inc. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends, and my fellow brothers of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity Inc. Already this year there have been some losses here in the GLBT community of Houston, and with family members of friends of mine. This just reminds me that we have to live each day to the fullest, take every time we can to tell those we care about that we love them and how we feel about them. Remember, life is not a dress rehearsal, and tomorrow is not promised.
